Miley Cyrus‘ 'L.O.L.' remake film was set to come out as early as mid-2011, but was delayed for international release for multiple reasons; one of them is due to scandal. Starting with private screeners in the U.K., the film was immediately pulled before it hit public theaters worldwide after a scandal, even though the..

..scandal was just the boost it needed. Producers had second thoughts about a scene in the film where Miley‘s character is smoking with her friends.. quickly demanding a re-edit & cut the scene out to not spark another controversy when the film comes out. Lionsgate is running low on funds.

The company who took part in making the movie can’t afford promotion for the movie, so they’re putting it on hold for a while. The company is counting on 'The Hunger Games', co-starring Miley’s boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth.

The film that’s based on the series of books with the huge franchise to support, will give Lionsgate just the boost it needs to support 'L.O.L.'. The film, will most likely hit theaters worldwide sometime after March.
